Community Trust Heritage walks with Ross McGinn & Ted McKie

Led by those who have a deep knowledge of the cultural heritage of Innerleithen, from the mills that once powered the area’s economy to ancient bridges, hill forts, the healing waters of St Ronan’s Wells and the many characters (some famous, others infamous!) who have shaped the history of the area. Very much magical, mystery tours, the informal walks often go in all sorts of directions depending on the interests of the group, but are always engaging and full of insight. By the end, you will see the town through very different eyes! Walks are held on the first Wednesday or Saturday of each month, from May to September:

6-8pm, Wed 5 May

10am-12pm, Sat 5 June

6-8pm, Wed 7 July

10am-12pm, Sat 7 August

6-8pm, Wed 1 September

All walks start and finish at the Memorial Hall, Innerleithen and last no more than two hours. Payment by donation on the day.
